Visual Design Challenge

As a candidate for a Visual Design role at Google, I was asked to complete a design challenge. I was given 3 options and chose to create a "Fitness Leaderboard". I was given one week to complete the design challenge. 

I completed this challenge by conducting market research of competitors and predecessors, interviewing focus groups of friends and family, creating paper mockups and layouts, designing digital interfaces, and finalizing animated applications. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I used Prototyping on Paper to model each screen on a mobile device.

The fitness board concentrates on providing data on each user’s ability to power Google products, such as Pixel, Home and Car. The fitness board calculates the number of joules and watts that each individual produces while exercising. That wattage can be displayed as theoretical energy to power physical products and add tangible value to the individual.
