Agricultural Farm Table
In the fall of 2014, I interned at John Deere for a semester. I was given the assignment to create an agricultural farm table.
The goal was to illustrate the agricultural production cycle. The physical toy models demonstrate how a typical field looks during each stage. The table itself was created using melamine boards and table legs. The shelves on the side prop up and down, which allow the GoApps, mobile applications to be displayed.
Pink foam has been manipulated to create each field. Shrubs and trees were added to the environment. The trucks in transit illustrate how items are carried to and from the fields. The grain bins and the electrical poles bring connections from the outside to farm life.
It is currently sitting at the John Deere Technology Innovation Center in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois.
