Parking Kiosk Redesign
In the fall of 2013, I worked on a team project for studio to redesign the parking kiosks in the greater Atlanta area.
Our goals were to make specific tasks and the kiosk itself more noticeable, i.e. where to pay for parking. We agreed as a group that the layout of the buttons and display were neither clear nor organized. We also noticed users lacked an area to set belongings down and often struggled using the kiosk, either with one hand or just a few free fingers. Therefore, we added a side table to hang bags or set drinks or other items down to allow easy access.
